Love in the Sky London, will launch with a prestigious experiential celebratory event at the ICA’s 18th century Grade 1 listed building, overlooking St. James’ Park on 30th June 2009.

The event, which will be filmed for broadcast, will showcase the five pieces of commissioned artwork by leading artists which will have been created in pairs. These five pieces of art will be auctioned on the night with the proceeds being donated to the ICA Young People Foundation.

The guests on the evening will be invited to add to a collaborative work of art based on the true definition of Love.
The evening will also include thought-provoking live performances from well-known musicians and a host of entertaining surprises…of course, all under the universal theme of love.


The ICA are to commission ten leading influential artists to produce a piece of art work in pairs to capture the essence of Love. Artist Showing:

THE JUDGING PANEL

A panel of high profile experts will choose the winners and runners up, according to how well the image encapsulates the meaning of love in today’s world with a view to tomorrow’s society. We are currently in talks regarding the involvement of:
